“旅游景区三维模拟仿真系统应该完全可以代替现行的录像多媒体宣传片，它不仅具备录像多媒体宣传片所能展示的所有效果，而且具有录像多媒体宣传片无法实现和超越的能力。”重庆埃默科技有限责任公司负责人接受记者采访时表示，“如果说2010年上海世博会让中国人不出国门看遍世界成为可能，那么我们这项旅游景区三维模拟仿真系统的应用，也可以让广大游客朋友足不出户就能身临其境的欣赏天下美景。”
据了解，该系统主要采用虚拟现实技术和地理信息技术把旅游风景区内所有的“景观、建筑物、服务设施”等都模拟仿真于互联网网络平台上，同时还可以整合“音乐、视频、导游解说词”等多媒体资料，使广大游客在足不出户的情况下，轻点鼠标键盘就可轻松完成对旅游景区的预先体验。
“我们接下来将把这项先进技术在被确定为世界文化遗产的重庆大足石刻和世界自然遗产的武隆仙女山等知名景区中率先推广应用，以实际行动为重庆旅游事业发展做出应有贡献。”重庆埃默科技有限责任公司介绍称，通过把旅游景区真实的“还原”到网上，把景区内景色形象生动的展示给游客，可以增强游客对景区的认知度、帮助游客考察路线、安排行程、预定食宿地点等，这样既节省时间，又方便其出行。
三维模拟仿真系统具备五大亮点
此外，重庆埃默科技有限责任公司陈开碧博士还指出，该项“旅游景区三维模拟仿真系统”与传统的“录像多媒体宣传片”相互比较，其还具有以下五大亮点：
一、超前性
“旅游景区三维模拟仿真系统”不仅可以展现景区建设完成后的真实效果，而且还能于景区规划建设阶段展示未来预期的效果，为旅游规划决策提供参考；而录像多媒体宣传片展示的只能是建设完成后的效果。
二、多视角
“旅游景区三维模拟仿真系统”输出两种格式，一种是自动漫游方式，另一种是交互式漫游方式，建设管理者可以根据需要设置展示方式，参观者也可以根据自身的爱好和兴趣选择参观的线路和景点，而且可以多角度、多维度参观景点，若需要甚至还可以进入某些建筑物内部任意浏览；而录像多媒体宣传片只能按景区建设者的意图和预先设定的路线来展现，展示的只能是景点的某一侧面，无法实现全方位的展示，而且不能更改。
